  • All of our classes are designed with all fitness levels and needs for modifications in mind. We will make sure you are challenging yourself while you are exercising safely and getting stronger over time. And you won't be alone. Everyone comes to the studio and finds their personal level of workout!

  • We use software called Walla (woman-founded, boom!). It is accessible from your computer or the app. For ease of use on the go, download the Walla app on your device and create a username and password. We are paperless and process all reservations and payments ahead of class via Walla. All reservations must be made ahead of coming to class.

  • No! One membership or pass means you are welcome at all of our studios.

  • It is a last resort. If we do it is because of one of three reasons: 1 - instructor/studio emergency, 2 - the class was under enrolled 90 minutes to 2 hours before class or by 830pm the night before for any class earlier than 8am, 3 - weather.

  • YES! Area businesses have contracted Motivate to host private classes for their employees as a one-off and as a series. These are great team-building experiences. We also host Bridal Barre, Bridal Bounce, Birthday Barre, etc. We make a playlist of YOUR favorite songs, we can make your event thematic. We make it yours!   • Amesbury Studio: We have ample parking immediately in front and next to the building.

    Rowley Studio: Plenty of parking right in front of building.

    North Hampton: Plenty of parking right in front of building. We are next to Dogtopia which is next to Shaw’s.

  • First, breathe. We are all new at one time or another!! We are a friendly bunch so you will acclimate in no time. So, come on in and leave your shoes at the door. You don’t need shoes for barre, bounce or yoga. If you are taking strength or cardio classes, bring clean indoor sneakers. For spin, indoor sneakers or spin shoes. Bring water. We have everything else. Leave your stuff in the cubbies and then check in with the instructor as you move the larger studio space. You will see the instructor moving around checking in with clients to be sure no one has an injury or need of specific modifications. She will have a microphone on her head. Say hello and she will take it from there!

  • Only if you have a particular one you love. Otherwise, we have plenty!

  • If you are a first responder, active military, or a veteran, please email the studio for a special code for 10% off our memberships (monthly autobill, 6 and 12 Month Unlimited Passes).

  • We LOVE when couples work out together. When both of you become members, you each get 20% off your membership (monthly autobill, 6 and 12 Month Unlimited Passes). Please email the studio for your promo code.

  • Please email meghan@motivate-movement.com at least 14 days in advance of your billing date to hold or cancel your monthly autobill. Please do not text the studio. Please remember that there is a 6 month commitment to your membership before cancellation is permitted.

  • We do not offer refunds under any circumstances. We do however offer the chance to place unused and current (not expired) purchases back on your account for future use. Please email the studio for further information.

Late Cancellation + Weather-Related Cancellation Policies 

✔️ Our studios have a 10-hour cancellation policy (24-hours for private classes, workshops, health coaching sessions) for our studio classes. Any class cancelled within 10 hours of class will have used their class credit (unlimited pass holders and members will be charged a $10 fee). Exceptions will be made to our policy in emergency and sensitive situations. We completely understand that life happens and it is not always possible to follow through on every commitment made! There are no hard feelings for a cancellation or a miss, we simply must maintain the integrity of our policy.

✔️ The software is fully automated so please cancel yourself from class when you know you can not attend even if within the 10-hours before class to allow someone on the waitlist to come in. If you don’t, those on the waitlist may not get the opportunity to come in.

✔️ We offer a waitlist for full classes. Putting yourself on the waitlist is like reserving yourself for class. You can be automatically pushed into class up to one hour before class. If you decide you can’t keep the reservation if you get into class, please remove yourself so the next person in line has the opportunity to potentially get into class.

✔️ Please don't text/email the studio to cancel as we are teaching or coaching and can not respond in a timely manner to affect change on the roster. Head to the scheduling software and cancel yourself.

✔️ Class no-shows will lose their class credit if on a limited class pass. (Those on an unlimited pass will be charged a fee of $20.) No exceptions are made for no-shows. We completely understand that life happens and it is not always possible to follow through on every commitment made! There are no hard feelings for missing, we simply must maintain the integrity of our policy and design the policy to encourage canceling before class, even if late.

❄️ Regarding weather, if there is a chance you won't make it to class because you live on side roads or have a steep driveway or hate driving in snow, etc. please (please, please, please) don't reserve class ahead of time. When you know you can make it in safely, reserve class then.

❄️ If the roster is too small or if the weather makes it such that we can't safely get our instructors to the studio, we will cancel class as soon as we know! It will be cancelled on the schedule and you will get your email or text (based on your communication preferences) if you were registered for class.
